In 2012, the Rotary Club of Richland Center introduced a new program that will indicate to citizens and those passing through our city, that the community does have the Christmas spirit.
Known as “Rotary Lights in the Park,” many of the “big trees” in the Park will be aglow with strings of LED lights as well as many 7′ decorated Christmas trees that are sponsored by groups, clubs, churches, schools, etc. The night after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, the 2nd annual lighting event took place.
PVR will be represented and recognized by a decorated Christmas tree in that section of the Park devoted to sponsored trees. This new program was a welcome addition to the many events that annually take place in Richland Center … and, it’s sure to become a tradition in our community.
“Rotary Lights in the Park” will be on display from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day.
